We can proudly say that we are a small company from Croatia based in Poreč, Istria. We deliver an outstanding experience to our clients through activities and the history of places we visit! We provide activities, such as sea kayaking, hiking, and cycling in Croatia. But, with stories, we share along the way you get to learn about Croatia in a unique and unforgettable way. We offer all of our tours as tailor-made and customized just according to your preferences.

By participating in any of our trips, you will bring work and income to local communities. Our aim is to play a proactive role in contributing to achieving sustainability where we have influence. All of our trips ensure that the local people benefit as much as possible in the form of farm products trade, new jobs, and services provided.

Libro Adventure’s leaders are trained to minimize the impact on the environment, practice leave no trace principles on trails, recycle whenever possible, and donate food to various community programs. Our company has a strong belief that the most important aspect of any tour and tour operator is to provide a good service to its clients, this means that we will always try to make sure that our customers have a great experience while on the tour. We give significant emphasis on ensuring that the sustainable tourism brought to different areas of Croatia contributes to the local communities.

Our environmental policy:

  1. Our correspondence and promotion are carried out via email, minimizing the amount of paper.
  2. Our group sizes are small, helping minimize cultural and environmental impact.
  3. We recycle all our wastepaper
  4. The vehicles are managed to minimize environmental impact.
  5. Give guidelines pertaining to flora and fauna.
Social responsibility
We try to offer a new perspective to travelers by providing a one-of-a-kind holiday that allows the true experience of the destination we visit and its culture while contributing to the well-being and preserving those areas. There are a number of ways we work to achieve this. By practicing low impact on natural resources, being respectful and observant of local customs, and being supportive of local economies. On most of our tours, we use local produce and provide local-style meals, and we encourage our guests to try local dishes. Most important for us is to ensure that the financial benefits remain in the local community.

All our guests are thought something about Croatia, either about the culture, religion, geography, politics, or just some local customs. We try to teach them at least a few words of Croatian. That is the way we also show respect to the communities we visit along the way.

The goal of responsible tourism is to lessen the negative impact and find ways to increase the positive change tourism can bring to a region. We continually strive to ensure that the tourism brought to these areas benefits the local communities.
